About
Lost Possum was founded by freelance cinematographer and editor Rob Davis. Davis began his career as a newspaper photojournalist in college before moving to New Orleans in 2008, where he quickly transitioned into unscripted film and television.
With over 20 years of experience in unscripted storytelling, Davis has worked across a wide range of editorial and commercial projects. He served as Director of Photography for the Showtime feature documentary Stand, which received a 2024 Emmy nomination for Best Sports Documentary. Most recently, he has been the cinematographer on the acclaimed series documenting Gypsy-Rose Blanchard’s life after prison, and he produced and directed a national AARP campaign spotlighting heroes fighting senior poverty.
Through an extensive network of collaborators, Lost Possum can assemble a custom-tailored team to meet your production needs—large or small.
